Koopa is playing with his Mario and Luiggi.
ME: Koopa, do you think Mario is scared of toilets?
KOOPA: No.
ME: Do you think he can maybe protect you from the toilet in the daycare if you take him with you to the bathroom?
KOOPA: No, he can't.
ME: Why?
KOOPA: Because he is a toy.
Hmm. That's gonna be a tough one. Think harder, mama, think harder.

Купа: Нет, он не может.

Купа: Потому что он игрушка.
What if you go in to talk to the toilet and make sure it's nice, and then you can tell Koopa that the toilet promised not to bite him? Would that help?
ReplyDeleteI tried doing something like that in the past, but it never works. See, he's strongly convinced that the toilet is a monster, and its not going to be that simple to convince him that it's not dangerous.
